Beginner Scent Work provides a structured introduction to the foundational skills of canine olfaction and search behaviour. This program teaches dogs to identify and locate a designated target odor in a controlled, confidence-building environment. Handlers learn effective techniques for supporting independent searching, interpreting canine body language, and reinforcing accurate indications. Suitable for dogs of all ages and breeds, scent work promotes mental enrichment, enhances focus, and strengthens the handler–dog relationship through purposeful, nose-driven activities.
